I like candles - I also have a craft streak that comes and goes. This little project is good for decorating around the house or giving away as a gift. You do not need to be a craft goddess to make these! Winter just screams that we need some extra light and warmth during the holidays.
Supplies you need: tea light candles (you can buy boxes of these cheaply), patterned washi tape, scissors, cellophane bag & ribbon if you are gifting them.
Simply cut a strip of washi tape to fit around each candle. Stick it on and you are good to go. You might have to cut off the excess or tuck it and fold it along the bottom. You can make a set of like minded patterns or colors for gifting. I have loads of washi tape (which can be found in any craft store and online) so I can make something for everyone on my list.
I bought cellophane bags and tags in the $1 section - most stores have these and are a source of inspiration.
Remember to burn candles away from kitties and in safe places.
