[Creepmas] Day 12 - Toys For The Kid In All Of Us

Matt and I collect toys. Sometimes we are asked if they are for our children while checking out and I reply - "we do not have children" and get odd stares. Matt and I also like to talk about the toys we grew up with as kids - many of the same ones circulated within our toy chests! If you are like us and love spooky cute toys here are my top picks. I guess they are suitable for children too but I am allergic to children so use your own judgement!

Vampletes make super soft cuddly creatures to snuggle with. There are many undead critters to choose from including a Vampyre Bat named Hector! I wonder if he was the first in the bat gang to die? Sorry Moz reference!

Winter time means yeti time! This plush will have you yelling for yetis! Say Hello to Yurik your foreign exchange pal who wants to sip vegan hot cocoa with you!

Monster High dolls are not only cool - they serve as fashion inspo for me. Luna is actually one I have in my collection because -duh- insects! We also sponsored a foster child's holiday wish this year and bought her Monster High dolls!

Every Creepmas home needs their own Pumpkin King! Funko Pop figures are fun to collect and again I have this toy in my collection!

I Love Cats & Toys!

When I was in the Disney Store a few weekends ago doing some shopping for a friend I came upon a giant plush cat. I asked who the cat was and was told Lucifer - how could I pass up a giant plush kitty with so much attitude? Mar approves of Lucifer!



Mar and Lucifer even have something in common - the butt hide! If I happen to want a pillow - Mar will flop on it. If I want a paper Mar will sit on it!Mar tends to go after my jewelry, not sit on it, I do not give him the chance - it would suck trying to retrieve a skull charm from Mar's poop, like my mom did with my sister's poo after she swallowed some change as a toddler...

So add Lucifer to the cool cat club! Mar voted him in!

Flat Mar

If you know me - you know I am allergic to rabbits. I was told I could not be allergic to them because bunnies are hypoallergenic - it must be they hay. I was around hay - no problems. It is the sweet bunnies I cannot handle. I still will pet bunnies until I cannot breathe and run gasping for bunny free air though!


Enter Flat Bonnie maker of super cute custom bunny plushes. I loved the work instantly! I thought of the possibility of a Flat Mar and sent a request and flat cat magic was born! I was hesitant at first because lately my artistic request of Mar have been not met with great success (due to my request not being taken to seriously perhaps)...When I got the sketches I was smitten, asked for Mar's white V on his forehead and sat back.


This is Flat Mar - complete with baby cancer fighting tail from Flat Bonnie's blog! That bottom right pic is how Mar sleeps next to me!


I took a quick picture of Mar and flat Mar last night. Mar wanted dinner and was grumpy from having a puppy in his backyard (the people turning our jungle into an actual yard brought their puppy over the last few days)...
