The last few Friday nights have been vegan pizza and beer night. As you can tell I like a thick bubbly crust, my tips to get your crust like this is to use your hands - do not roll it out. I also coat my finger tips with olive oil to work the dough. After getting the ball into a circle shape I put it on my pan and push the dough from the middle out to create a thicker outside rim. It is all pretty simple!
I love bright happy flowers! I love them from my garden or when I find a bunch of buds for cheap, bring them home, cut the tips and they bloom overnight! These beautiful daffodils came from Trader Joe's for around $1.50! Score!
I often get asked what my favorite movies are - I think people might expect valuable movie insight due to the fact I am living with a movie/music video director. These are my favorite all time movies for various reasons, they stood out after one viewing and each are so different!
Dear Wendy - after watching this movie I was just in love with it. It is a bit indie, a bit western and all out awesome. The soundtrack is provided by the Zombies which elevates it to a even higher level!
Fat Girl - This movie has subtle ways of making you emotionally attached, at least I felt that pull. Growing up I had beautiful swan like friends that made me feel so much lower than what I was due to looks. I can appreciate the subtle beauty of this movie. The ending is shocking, and comes out of left field, it drew me in even more!
Wrist Cutters - I know suicide is such a hard subject to move around but this movie takes it to another level. It is dark, it is light, it makes you think, it makes you laugh. It is one of those movies that you need to watch to understand every day life.
Biutiful - We went in just wanting to watch and support foreign film, not knowing what this was about. We left tear stained and touched. This movie is sad - I will not lie, it sticks with you for days.
I have not picked up my case of Perler Beads since the holiday season. I challenged myself to come up with new patterns for for swapping over on Swap-Bot. I am also wrapping my mind around what I will create for a 8 - bit art show and concert my boyfriend is hosting this summer.

I got two new bags last week that make me so happy! I have received many compliments on both so far! I figured if I bought a new bag I would be forced to clean out my old bag. It worked! Plus two weeks ago I cleaned my closet for a yard sale and got rid of about 8 purses, 4 pair of shoes and some other forgotten about stuff. I have been lusting afterLux De Ville's super rad bags for awhile. I just never got to get my hands on the perfect color combo until this beauty came into play. I love it! It holds a lot, has feet protectors at the bottom and matches all my leopard gear!
My boyfriend knows I am a sucker for pandas so he bought me this lil guy to organize my 'on the road' cosmetics. My last makeup pouch recently was compared to a Harry Potter contraption after it was dumped on the ground in search of something. I knew it was time to clean it out!
